A very simple way to improve your mood: Eating Chips

However, recent research shows the good side of eating chips. The research has proven that eating chips may improve the mood. We can say that eating chips can make you feel better. Good news, isn’t it? Let’s find out more about the research.

The research is conducted by Dr. Mike Green from the University of Aston in Birmingham. Dr Mike Green asked 60 men and women to watch a five-minute movie that shows the damage caused by the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima in 1945.

After that, half of the people were given a magazine to read to influence their thoughts, while the rest of the people were ordered to eat chips. After conducting activities in accordance with the request of the researcher, all participants were asked to complete questionnaires about their mood. The participants or respondents asked to eat chips improve their mood after eating the chips, while the other participants asked to read a magazine improve nothing. Based on the research, Dr Green explained that the sense of calm coming from eating chips can be felt after 20 minutes.

So, next time if you want to improve the bad mood, try to eat chips. Just remember, don’t eat too much.
